Meet DeckCodes.chat β a free online tool that converts Marvel Snap deck images into clean, shareable deck codes using advanced AI. Whether you're building your next meta deck or just sharing something fun with friends, our tool makes it effortless to extract deck codes from screenshots.
A deck code in Marvel Snap is a compact text string (encoded in base64) that represents up to a full 12-card deck. It can be shared across social media, Discord, or imported into the game to instantly recreate someone else's deck.
This format is used by streamers, tier list websites, and the official Marvel Snap app to streamline sharing and gameplay.
Just upload a screenshot of your Marvel Snap deck. Our AI system analyzes the image, detects the card names (including variants), and generates the corresponding deck codeβall in seconds. No manual typing. No card searching. Just snap, upload, and play.
DeckCodes.chat works best with cropped screenshots that show exactly 12 cards in a 4x3 grid or 6x2 grid. It supports both default and variant card art, including pixel, chibi, and other styles.
We save a thumbnail of your deck image to cache future loading. Uploaded images are processed in-memory using encrypted HTTPS requests to the AI model, and your session data is stored locally in your browser for convenience. Privacy and security are built in by design.
DeckCodes.chat is 100% free. You don't need to register or install anything. This service is supported by unobtrusive adsβplease consider whitelisting us if you use an ad blocker.

Marvel Snap has two deck code formats. From launch (Oct 2022) until late 2024, the game used a "long" format where card names were encoded in full. Since then, a "short" format was introduced that uses abbreviated card names, making codes roughly 3-3.5x shorter and easier to share on social media.
For example, "Sunspot" becomes "Snspt7" in the short format (vowels removed + original length). The game accepts both formats, and DeckCodes.chat generates the original long format for maximum compatibility.
